Need help with torque's
I am trying to put the front suspension back together in my '69, but I can't seem to find anywhere that calls out the torque specifications for the 3 bolts that hold the backing plate to the steering knuckle (shown in picture). I have looked in the AIM, Chassis Service Manual, Chassis Overhaul Manual, Chilton's, and even Haynes. None of these call out a torque spec. that I could find. Does anyone know what they should be torqued to?
Thanks much.

Re: Need help with torque's (vette69)
For my 68, the 2 bolts that hold the steering arm to the spindle were
torqued at 70 ft lbs and the big top bolt with the tab was 80 ft lbs and
up to (guessing on this) 100 ft lbs to line of the tab with the side of the
nut.
