Default Need suggestions on how to fix carb leak

I have a Holley 750 dp that I noticed Sunday was leaking from where the fuel inlets are (not to mention the leaks from the float adjustors and bowl screws). I got a new Mr Gasket dual inlet today but it still leaks from the rear inlet. To avoid confusion, it's leaking from the big 1" hex nut that screws into the bowl, not the smaller hex nut that attaches the line. I also have new gaskets on these 1" hex nuts. I can't seem to get it to quit leaking. It's not as bad as before, it just kinda seeps out now. Is it ok to put a thin thin coating of gas-proof Permatex on the gasket and see if it'll seal? That's the only other thing I can think of besides getting a new bowl. Any suggestions are welcome.
