park brake grommet, console
I removed the entire park brake system, cables and all. The rubber grommet that the upper cable passes through has been misplaced (typicial of my parts storage!) and I am having trouble getting a replacement. The one I ordered from Corvette Central is about 1/2" in diameter but the one I need is about 7/8" in diameter. Any suggestions on where to purchase one? I hate paying shipping of $5 for a $4 part!! Try your local hardware store. The Ace stores in my area have those little boxes that pull out like drawers in the fastener department, I think you could find something there that would work just fine.
