No wonder we have'nt heard from Rowdy Rat. There he is, where you'll most likely find him judging-under the hood of a '68-'72 Corvette(on right, with green hat on).

Could'nt get pic link to function  , but it's pic #48 of 91.

Thanks Mean Green for the pics

and I talked with that owner...they dinged him for over-sized metal flakes in the paint :skep:

Paul,

Hopefully, there are no regular viewers of "America's Most Wanted" who follow this board...

We had three cars to judge in the 1970-72 class (all 1972s in fact) and they were all great cars which makes the job easier for everyone involved. The gentleman who owned the blue '72 LT-1 in the photo (I believe his name was Ken) was going through his first NCRS judged event and he did very well for his first time out... The other two cars had been judged previously and did great as well. All in all, first rate cars and a really nice show.

A somewhat funny story for us "numbers guys"... The owner of the blue '72 LT-1 was under the impression that his car did not require an A.I.R. system. Turns out that he had been given the complete, dated system in a box and had taken it out to the swap meet before his car was judged... Listed at the every day low price of $75! Fortunately for him, it hadn't sold, so he was pretty happy (saved himself $1000 replacement cost) although I'm a bit disappointed in my hard core swap meet buddies who usually snap up parts like this as soon as they hit the table. :)

I heard from one of the SE Chapter guys that you have your '68 registered for Stone Mountain, GA... Is that true? I'd love to get a look at your new acquisition!

Regards,
