Temp sensor loaction
I have replaced my intake with an Edelbrock performer intake 2101 and I want to replace my stock water neck with a chrome one, but right now I stuck the water temp sensor in the stock neck. It seems like the only other open place on the intake is right under the water neck hose so a sensor won’t fit. What can I do? :confused:

Check your right head (passenger side) there should be a tapered pipe plug down on the side of the head, between cylinders 2 and 4. The normal position for the temperature gauge sensor is in the same location on the left (drivers side) head. I assume the temp sensor you are trying to move is part of the emissions system on the 81.
