Rear Window Tray?
How many of you chrome bumper t-top guys actually use your rear window tray? I'm doing the window conversion on my 73 and was thinking about installing the tray, but when I asked a few guys if they ever use theirs, they said no. They said they just rattle anyway, so they took them out. Thanks for your comments. Craig :chevy

Re: Rear Window Tray? (CF6873)
On my 72 I use the tray to hold my T-top bags, as the window never removed.
On my 74 conversion I did not install a tray. The window is out most of the summer, which I wrap in a red towel {matches the interior} and lay it across the wheel wells as a shelf.

I leave my rear window in the tray most of the summer. Then the t tops strap down on the rear compartment floor most of the summer also. I love having all open through the summer, next best thing to a vert! Good insurance if it rains and you are far from home!

I've had my vette since mid April; the T-tops and rear window are usually removed. The window (wrapped in a soft towel) stays on the tray and the T-tops are in their bags and tucked between the wheel wells.

Bubba removed the original an sold it. I bought a replacement window but it's sitting in the garage. I never replaced the tray. Don't think I'll put the window in either! :D
