Default J56 brake questions

What is so special about the J56 brakes? Do they have larger pistons or something?

The caliper housing is basically the same it has been modified for use with an "L" shaped double pin pad. The major difference is the pistons, they have a rather thick phoenelic (sp.) insulator. There is also a cast caliper reinforcement bracket and an adjustable proportioning valve and bracket. I have a bunch of extra stuff for sale if anyone is interested BUT I am telling you in advance it is expensive. ...redvetracr

Hi
Are the reinforcement brackets still available ? How much ?
Is anybody reproducing those ?
Looks like if they are easy to install also to normal C3 front brakes.
Let me know, pls.
Gunther
