Cragar SS / questions about installation on a 70 vette
I would like to install the Cragar SS mags on my 70 vette but the calipers get in the way. If I use a spacer to move the wheel out far enough to clear the calipers the studs are too short. I would need a 3/4" spacer to clear the calipers and the studs are only 1" long. Any ideas ?
What are and where do you get long reaching lug nuts ?
Where can you purchase 3/4" spacers ?

I have them on my 72, but had to use spacers. You also will need longer lug nuts. See yesterday's thread on spacers; lots of good info there.

A friend of mine use to have them on his 71. I think what he did was grind down the caliper a bit to get them to clear.

I had 15" Cragar SS's with 3/4 inch spacing and extra long lugnuts... This setup worked great for the last 2 years...

What if you have acron style lug nuts and need to use spacers. Do you have to replace the lug studs with longer ones or will the long shank type nuts work?

'69 vette, 15x8 Cragar SS with 1/2" spacer.
Worked great for last 2 yrs for me also.
