I tried fitting my brothers 15x10 rally rims on tonight and they hit the e -cable bracket so i removed it and they fit fine with 275/50/15 drag radials.I was wondering if anybody has them all the way around even in the fronts,i really like the deeper look they have and i can get a whole set from a guy i know.And if anybody has pictures of them installed too.

Do the tires stick out past the fender? What backspacing do they have?

That is the size tire I was looking at. Will it fit on an 8 inch rim or is 10 inch better. Let me know how theses work out

theyare 5 inch backspacing and Gordon, im not sure if theyll fit an 8 inch rim there about a 12 inch tire there actually bubbled on the sidewalls on a 10 inch rim,ill take a picture so you can see and also i think with my 275/60/15 tires on the 15x10's theyll be even with the fender but with the drag radials they stick out.

excuse the dog :D i couldnt put the cap on either cause i didnt have the right lugnuts no acorn ones to put on.Im gone to move it to the front tommorrow and see how they fit up front.

I thought the 8 inch would be small. 10 inch would be better.

So you are gaining an inch on the outside and an inch on the inside. From the looks of the picture, you would almost have to go with a fender flare to avoid cracking a fender on a speed bump. They really look good though :cool: ...even with your fancy purple side pipes :jester

I have 8" ralleys on the front with 255-60-15s and it barely rubs the inner fender at full lock. I would think 10" ones with such a wide tire would rub or worse yet hit the fender (crack!!) since mine completely fill the front fenderwell. They look mean on the back tho! I was wondering if you'll have to change the speedo gear since they look shorter height than stock. BTW, my sig pic has the old F70-15s, not the BFGs I'm talking about here.

im only gone to use the rims on the rear not the tires my brother wont give up those,ill use my 275/60/15 on the rear,fills the wheel well up better.

Who makes a 10" rally wheel ? Did they come on other GMs, or aftermarket ?

Also - was there a good thread on your sidepipe fabrication ? I'm definitely
going there - purple or not !! No use hiding them - they are right in the sig text. :crazy: :crazy:

I have the 275/50/15s in 8" rims 275mm=10.83 inches. Fit great even with E-Brake bracket in place. also have a set of 275/60/15s on Alum 8" rims, might sell these , new BFG drag radials with 200 miles.

PatsNitrovette : I think the combo of the 275/50 with those 3.70 gears is perfect. I am not sure you will like the 275/60 as much . I have the 3.36s and the 275/60s killed my gearing. not so much in your case, I guess...

clink,i had the 275/60's for awhile with the 3.70 gears and yeah it hurt the take off but now with the 700r4 first gear in it ,its feels great...also wheel vintiques sells them.
