Convert late model C3 to Chrome Bumper
Has anyone done this? How much does it cost?
I like the C3, but really like the early models with the chrome bumper.
If this has already been asked and answered could you please point me to the right website and/or thread. Thanks.

Re: Convert late model C3 to Chrome Bumper (Belloc)
I looked into the same thing for my '74 (at least the rear bumper). It could be done, as all the panels/parts required are available and would fit with some modification.
Anything is possible with a good body shop and $$$, but the bottom line is $$$. It would probably be less expensive to purchase a decent chromie than to convert yours.

Re: Convert late model C3 to Chrome Bumper (74FLCONV)
I picked up an 71 rear clip for $400, and it needed the tail light panel replaced (another 150 I think) and did all the body work myself. The only problem is finding bumpers (used needing repair and rechrome was around $130) and the brackets to mount them which will have to be modified to bolt to the rubber bumper car frame. As for the front bumper, good luck.
