i think you started the bidding too high. if you set the starting to what would seem crazy, like $25 people are more attracted to it because it seems like a better deal. just set the reserve to whatever you want to get out of it.

Tried that with the last listing and it fell short of my reserve. It was the same price. Looks like I'll be doing a third posting.

My suggestion would to be more specific. What kind of pistons? (brand, model, compression ratio with what cc heads?) Who's camshaft, timing chain, etc... If you have part numbers and manufacturers, it would help sell it since people would then be able to compare apples to apples.

I guess you already tried to return it, even for a loss (restock fee)? Generally what I have found in sales of NEW second hand stuff it goes for from 60% to 75% of original. Some more popular items go higher. so that makes it $260 to $300. Try putting the reserve at $300.. also putting a reserve on items makes some bidders go away...
