No Exhaust Manifold Gaskets???
Reading a side note in CC's catalog, it says "Remember, your Corvette engine did not originally have gaskets between the heads and the exhaust manifolds".
Is this true? Is this a machine fit? Why do they sell exhaust manifold gaskets for this application?

That fact is correct--exhaust manifold gaskets were not used from the factory.

Now that you mention it, I don't remember any gaskets when I put my headers on. Maybe that is why the engine compartments tend to get very sooty.
