Is this a factory L88 hood or aftermarket. If aftermarket do you know where it came from. The hood looks SWEET!

It's the original stock smallblock hood with an Eckler L-88 scoop I molded to it when I painted the car in '96 :cheers:

Do u have step by step instructions on how to go about cutting up the SB hood and placing the scoop in the right position?

x, I've mentioned before how well the Eckler scoop fit the hood...so it was just a mater of positioning the scoop where I thought it looked best front to back. I scribed a line around it and cut and inch or so inside that line. I cut out the the hood leaving some rear section so the cut was a rectangle hole, in other words I didn't completely cut out the back edge of the hood. HTH
