Default Pic of the 'Vette

This is the only good picture I have of my Father's Corvette. Excuse the background  , although it is a good shot. This was taken back when he had just got it. :) We'll get more after we button up the engine in a week or two. :yesnod:

Thanks everyone!

The short block is remaining the same, it is actually in very good condition. :) We are having the heads ported/polished and matched to a holley dominator dual plane. Installing a comp cams 212/218 on a 114 LSA cam, new double roller timing set, new Melling oil pump, and chromed valve covers, oil pan and timing chain cover. As well as ARP block oxide hardware for installing all this stuff. Should be a nice ride when it is finished. :yesnod:

Hows the suspension?
Tightening up the suspension with new bits (and tires) really wakes up the performance of the C3 as well.

The suspension/brakes will be next on the list. The suspension bushing wear is more than expected from a late '70s car. :nonod: I am looking through Zip and Eckler's catalog for brake kits, while I think we will go with a PSC suspension kit. :)

Nice, then you can REALLY beat on her. :)

Edit: Try to pick up some Hawk Street pads. When working properly, the stock brake system is great, but with some nice street pads it will be REALLY great. I have scared my buddy with the braking (and he drives an S2000 which has pretty decent brakes itself).

terryrudy, you have a great site. :yesnod: Very informative, I'll have to book mark it for when we redo the suspension. Some of your pictures helps me figure out how our accessories should have been routed.

Clean looking Vette. Sounds like it's gonna rock.

One thing, can I polish your wheels for you??? :jester

A little wheel polish (simichrome or mothers on a buffing wheel on an electric drill works wonders) and that puppy would look real sweet.

Sorry, had the throw that in. Enjoy!

Well, you shouldn't be. That is an excellent idea! :yesnod: I am going to try it, those wheels are kind of hazy. :( Thanks!
