I think (if I read this correct) that this C5 has a 427 in it. :thumbs:

They put a twin turbo version of the 427 into an all wheel drive Sonoma. At the time of the article they had not worked out all the kinks but think it will be capable of 9 sec quarter and 20 mph. :eek:

theres a local shop here that will build you a 550+hp 427 LS1 for arround 10K :cool: think of the weight savings!
But $10,000 for an 427 LS1 sounds pretty cool to me. Crate motor and EFI will run you $7000 easy and probably will end up closer to $10,000.
Does the shop have a website?

Well you have to have the LS1 to begin with :lol: so you buy a core LS1 from a dealer for $1500 itll be a total of 11,500. No the shop dosent have a website. :(
