Art Carr 200R4 tranny
Does anyone run Art Carr Extreme Duty 200R4 tranny behind a small block? I was wondering how the firm the shifts were. I don't want tire chirping all the time, like the shift kit in my TH400 does. But this looks like a great deal. Any opinions? Thanks, Joe

Re: Art Carr 200R4 tranny (joe73vette)
That's a heck of a deal, but it's a LOT of tranny for an L48! Are you planning on doing any engine mods? If not, a Bowtie Level 1 or 2 unit might better suit your purposes.
What rear end ratio do you have? If it's low (like a 3.08), consider a 700R4. If it's high (3.55 or above) go with the 2004R.
