Default question.. Just curious

Hey all, for those who don't know me from OT I usually lurk around the C3 sections and post once in awhile.. I actually have a question that I am curious enough to ask, even though I am not an offical C3 owner :)

How hard would it be, and would it be worth the hassles, to put C5 seats into a 68-72 shark?

Pretty straight forward question, I know that you can do it with C4 seats with a little "adjusting" was just wondering if anyone tried C5 seats :)

do a search on this. I've seen 3 or 4 posts of people doing it. Someone had it on his website and was very descriptive and had many photos. I don't think it was too hard.

All of the threads that I have read on this say the same thing. The seats fit, but they are very tall. Some have had to rebuild the tracks to lower the seat.
One thread told of an attempt to lower the floor pan to make room for the electric seats.

Possible, but much work.

Thanks for the link guys!.. You are right they are pretty tall, and with a stock Steering wheel anyone who is tall would have some problems. Kewl.. Thanks for the info!!
