Default Wanna Go Faster? OT

Well I should have said surf faster. I signed up for a cable modem and when I got it installed that this was the bomb. I was running at around 750kbps. Man I am really moving. Well Friday night my old computers harddrive died while watching BJ Auction. Saturday and Sunday I spent computer shopping. I came home and hooked up the new computer and did the bandwidth speed test first thing. Now I am over 1375kbps at home on cable. That is blazing. Does it get any faster?

Oh, yea cable is great. I have had it here since it became available 5 years ago and I am very attached to it! One caution: don't leave the computer on while unattended, unless you unplug the network cable from the back of the modem. Keep others out - and no firewall needed if you do this.

You will find cable modem much faster than XYZ.Bell's DSL and it will have much better UP time than DSL in most areas.
