Thanks to SteveG75 the next big step in the project is coming up.
SteveG75 did a great favour for me a few weeks ago.
I've been trying to get photos of new fiberglass fenders out of a Corvette business in Colorado, but months went by with nothing to view.....and I'm a looooooooooong way from Colorado.
Steve happened to be in Colorado when I posted about this earlier and said, "I'll go take some photos". He did, and then eMailed them to me.
As a result of finally "seeing" the product, the order has been placed and they are being built right now.
Soooooooo...thanks Steve. Another great example of the power of the forum and the willingness of members to help out.
Cheers....
Four "complete" fenders (not just the flares) are on the way.
This car really is going to be a "brand-new" 1967 Corvette. :D

Those look great. I love 'em !!
I've always wanted a 65 (same year as me).
those fenders give the C2 a really nice look - a little
more coke-bottle (like our beloved C3s) - but not too much.
can't wait to see them on.

Well Bob I'm jealous, that is the style I would like to have to go on my '80.
I have always admired that style of fender flare. I think the design came from a Porsche didn't it?
I would really like to have that body in the C-2 post pictures, I could find a frame to put it on. Lets see a cheap '78 frame ..........cut 22" off of the rear frame rails and install a new rear end rail. Bolt 'er on ..........somebody wake me up! LOL Jim :yesnod:
