If we are talking for a bigblock I like Accel number 276 normal heat range or 274 one step colder. They also make them in S276 which is a little shorter plug for header clearance.
I have had good luck with Accel and gets years out of a set.

There's 3 plugs I would run in my Rat: NGK, Accel, or AC. Stay away from any gimmick plug (except maybe the AC rapidfires) or anything platinum, these are not performance plugs and you won't see them used in performance applications. I've always been real happy with NGK's back from my nitrous running days so that's what I'm currently running, sorry I can't think of the part number currently that I'm running. The cars in storage elsewhere otherwise I'd look.

AC Delco. Look for comercial grade. If yur car calls for R44T for instance, Upgrade to CR44T. Thicker electrodes and ground posts. Hold a CR next to an R and you'll see the difference. The bad part is CR's arent made for every application. I have em in my 73. I think im runnin CR44T.
