Whats the average gas mililage for a stock C3? :auto:

That depends on what year and options you have. My 73 with auto trans and 3.08 rear gear use to get about 16mpg. Earlier Vettes where not that good. Later Vettes with overdrive trans where alot better. There were alot of different option packages. Everything from high HP 350's and at least three rear end gear options would change gas milage not to mention the big block cars.

Depending on engine, tranny, and rear end choice, there is a wide range. I would say between 8 mpg(bigblock, no overdrive, tall gears) and 20 mpg(82 fi, overdrive, low gears.
