Pat, you're the guy who never sleeps. :D
Pedro---I remember seeing a garage door weather strip that was comprised of bristles all around the edging. It looked like one big brush around the garage opening. I always wanted to get it but never did. I think it was in a catalog from Brookstone or Leichtung. I have the kind that Ed posted but that doesn't last very long for me. I curls & kinks after a while. This bristles looked like they sealed the imperfections better.
I let you know if I run accross it again.

I insulated mine a few years ago. The back and side walls are the house so I get heat from that. It never goes much below 50 in there. I can heat it wit ha small propane heater. The concrete floor is still a little cold. Looks good Pat

Re: (1970 Stingray)
Thanks for the suggestion, Len. I think I'll go to Home Depot one of these days and see what they have. It's pretty darn cold here...

Hey, pretty warm there, huh ?
It's currently -7F here, and I just came in from the garage.
I guess I'm lucky that one wall shares a heated area, and two walls are
underground. The only place heat goes is through the door or through the
ceiling - which is insulated. My 40,000 btu/hr kerosene heater does fine, since
I made a temporary wall between the two stalls with heavy plastic. It gets
toasty in there, now. In a few moments, I'm going back out to lay on some
POR-15.
Good luck with the insulation - it's cheaper than heat !!

Re: (Ed T)
Our middle sized building is 100' X 50' X 12' tall. It had a smaller Dayton heater that would heat up the front section of the building pretty easily for much less $$$ than the big building.
You might look at reddy heaters. Get two of the larger units that burn #1 Diesel or Kerosene and put them in your general work area. They'll suprise you. Plus, you can go stand in front of one of them, toss a glass of water over your head, and give yourself a good steam cleaning when you need a bath! :jester

I'll tell you what I've been doing and its only 20. Sitting in the house by the fireplace and talking on this forum of all the things I'm going to do once it gets warm.
That includes moving to Germany and taking the vette on the Autobon.
