Does such an award exist? I can't find any info on their website. What are the particulars? Any and all info is appreciated!

"Survivor" is a Bloomington award. The equivalent award from the NCRS is the "Bowtie".

See http://www.ncrs.org/awards.html at the bottom of the page for a description.

The two main bodies of Corvette "ORIGINALITY" judging, NCRS and NCCB, each has their own version of an "originality" award. NCRS' award is the "Bowtie" Award, Bloomington's is the "Survivor" Award. For the NCRS Bowtie Award, the car must score 85% or higher in Exterior & Interior, 80% or higher in Engine Compartment & Chassis. 4 Teams of two people check each area they are judging. For Bloomington's "Survivor" Award, four judges check for 50% or greater "originality" in the same four above named categories. To me, and I've been through each program a few times, the "Bowtie" Award is the harder award to receive with the higher percentage scores required for the award.

Yes, at Hershey in July. Also am going for Founder's Award-have done everything to qualify except drive the final 500mi of a Road Tour which I also will do this year. Am driving out to Indianapolis where one of the Western Road Tours will be doing one of their stops a few days BEFORE the NATS, then driving in with them to Hershey-may be taking the "new" '68 to the Convention too, if he does well down at Stone Mountain-wife will drive one, and I'll drive one. :yesnod:

Great...I'm doing the 5th for the 78 at Hershey...I'm tempted to drive my silver to Stone Mountain...kind of stretch its legs before the Hershey trek. My last major road trip was St Louis in 98...otherwise its been around town stuff and not enough of it.

PS 68 looks good...I'm salivating over another C3 that I have yet to find! That would be an LT1 Project car!
