Default Valet Envy...

I valet parked the conv. last night at a nice bar/restaurant on the beach. For an extra $5, they keep it out front (VIP parking). The only other car in the VIP lot was a new Viper. The owner of the Viper and I showed up at the valet booth simultaneously. The two valet's were arguing (quietly) over who was going to drive the vette or the viper. They BOTH wanted to drive the vette.

I couldn't stop laughing. My $12k piece of crap was more desirable than a new viper...if only the babes would fight over ME like that...

Very good story...you just need to start referring to your vette as a fun play toy...not a 12k piece of crap....

Viper VS shark...No surprise there. The Dodge may be a show stopper compared to its contemporaries, but next to amid-year or a shark ( nice paint, wheels, headers, side-pipes and tinted windows really help) its just a car...a pretty car..but another car!!!

It WILL be a fun play toy when I'm finished fixing everything. Until then, it's really a POS! Squeaks, leaks, groans, loose front end, rusty bolts, cracking hoses/weatherstripping...If it were a '74 Malibu, I'd be sending it to the boneyard!:)
