73 Vette-Tire&Wheel Size Info Needed
Please help!!!
1)What are the biggest tires I can put on the front and back 15x8 wheels and NOT be sticking out and/or hitting the fenders with the stock setup?
2)If I put offset trailing arms on the back and want to run 15x10 rallyes, what should the backspacing be and what would be the largest tire I could run on this wheel and NOT be sticking out?

265's in front and 295's in the rear. I used to have this combo and there are also several members here that have it. Now I had it on a 82'

Many will disagree but for me the 245/60's are max in a stock configuration. I had 245's in front and 255's in the rear before I bought new tires. I went with 245's on all 4 to make rotating them possible. In the rear the 255's are close. If you put 255's on the front they will rub if you turn the wheel hard.

The first photo is with the stock wheels and 255/60 15's all the way around.
The second photo is with AR TT wheels that are the same size as the stock wheels with 255/60 15s on the front and 275/60 15s on the rear. I do have rubbing on the frame on the drivers side front if I make a left hand turn.
