Torque Thrust pics
Hey, are there any pics out there with the Torque Thrust D's on a completed car? If any of you have some, please post them or email them to me. My girlfriend just bought a set for her '65 Mustang and it got me thinkin'... And that's dangerous because it usually means I'll be spendin too much money! :)
Thanks!

Re: Torque Thrust pics (Black Magic)
If you stay with the original TT-D's they'll be 15". They will require spacers or adapters to clear the calipers. You can with the TT-D in a 17", and they have the same design at the TT-II's but are gray spokes. The 17" wheels I believe are a direct bolt on. Someone posted pictures of them about a week ago and they were very nice looking.
Good Luck

Various pics of mine with 16X8 Vintage 45s, a reproduction of the original TT D. The American Racing versions now have painted spokes, Vintage 45s are as-cast unpainted, like the originals.
See my website http://users2.ev1.net/~jeffsclassics/corvette/
They are on sale right now too, I believe. Vintage Wheel Works also has 17" versions in a two-piece with any backspacing you want.

Re: Torque Thrust pics (Black Magic)
Black Magic: I have a set of 4 15x81/2 Torque Thrust D's that are practically brand new. I also have custom CNC machined spacers with a GM center flange. NO grinding calipers, no balancing, or fitment problems. These special spacers make everything work without worry. The one thing you will need to do is increase the length of the studs so you have at least one-two turns outside the lug nut. Email me if you have interest. (If you are going to splurge, at least you will save state sales tax)

Re: Torque Thrust pics (spikezz4)
Wow, great pics guys! Thanks. Still not sure what I want to do. Actually, my girlfriend bought a set of 16x8 Vintage 45's for her Mustang, but I didn't know they made them for the Vettes! Turns out I am a dealer for them also! :)
Thanks Spike. I'll keep your wheels in mind if I decide to go that route.
BTW Zwede, your car looks awesome. I checked out your site and drooled over the pics. I have a feeling the pics don't do the car justice.
Thanks again guys!

Spike, what would those wheels and spacers et a guy back? I'd love to run them on my vette, but not looking to spend the kind of $$ on full retail right now.
