Think I can make my own soft tops?
I've seen the replacement T-tops that fold up, and really like them.
I dont want the ones that attach by using Velcro and the other ones are very difficult to find and are very pricy.
Here's what I am thinking.
I have an old T-Top that is missing the outer skin, so basically it is just the frame. It is basically junk so why not start cutting!
If I do some trimmig of the fiberglass It would lessen its weight. The latches and weatherstripping are still there, so i know it will fit.
The big obstical would be how to attach the canvas.
Anyone have any ideas?
Its worth a shot dont you think?

Considering what you did with your engine, I am certain beyond any doubt, it is well within you abilities. :)

I would think that you could attach them the same way a true soft top is attached to it's metal frame.
There must be some sight or publication that would show you the necassary hardware.
From there, it's a matter of your imagination figuring out the fabrication solutions.
Good luck, post pictures of your progress. This sounds interesting

OHSIXX,
Thanks for the kind words. The engine looks much better than that picture.
