Default T-Top alignment

Last night I put my glass tops on (in place of the hard tops).

For the driver's top, I could just barely get the top to sit down far enough to get the metal pole (for lack of a better term) to fit into the hole. This is the one at the back-left of the top.

Is there a way to adjust the top so if fits better, or did I screw up the installation of new weatherstripping on the top?

Thanks.

There are some shims on the center support side of the top. Try adding some there to reduce the pressure and allow the other side to seat.
