Sears Inductive Advanced Timing Light/Canada
Cannot find this in the Sears Canada on-line catalogue. Is it available here? Or does anyone have one for sale?

PS-I assume this is an "adjustable" timing light?

I picked up one of these on eBay for 35 bucks. Go for it -- they're out there. If you win an auction and need a "friend" to ship to, remember I'm actually one of "y'all."

I see that they are out there but I want to make sure that I get an adjustable model to do the Lars-type set-up.

And a PSS-Thanks for the kind offer. You obviously remember my muffler saga. And I do not have the Borlas yet...

I have the digital one from Crappy tire...... Its a great unit, has a built in tach and everything. Its fairly expensive($150) but worth it if you play around with cars( and play around with friends vehicles)

Paul -
If you want one, I'll stop by my local Sears here in Denver and pick one up for you after work today, box it up, ship it to Canada, and you can send me a check for the total. Lemme' know....

I just saw those in the craftsman club sale flyer.
Use you Craftsman Club card for another 5% off.
Paul, the auction you have shown is NOT the adjustable type.
The craftsman adj light looks the same, but has a black **** at the rear
of the light. In the picture shown, it should be at least partially visible.
Listed as $69 at craftsman.com:

I bought some stuff through these guys. Be sure to check out the peak kV tester in the "Garage Sale" section. Very useful item.

Paul,
Does Sears Canada have a website? I have one of the Advanced Inductive Lights and it is a great value for the money at $70.00.

Re: Sears Inductive Advanced Timing Light/Canada (lars)
Lars,
Thanks for the kind offer! Give me a couple of days on this as importing from the US is Soooo expensive. I will drop by Sears and see if the number (00921023000) clicks in their computer. Perhaps they can import it for me and absorb the shipping costs. Or often I find that their catalogue does not truly reflect what is available in-store. It may be there. I checked with the local Snap-on rep today re their line and....let's just say the prices are
outrageous.

The ones I saw at Canadian Tire were about $79.95. And I do not believe that is what I need. Do you have a CTC product number?

The Sears part number/catalog number for the "Craftsman Professional Timing Analyzer" is:
9-2194
Suggested retail price is $72.78 and it's available at my Sears store here in Denver. If you strike out, I can pick it up, remove the original box, send it to you as a "gift" with a declared value of $15 (that puts it under the customs limit), and ship via ground for a postage cost of about $12. It will take over a week to get to you, but what the heck. Just lemme' know...
