SOMEONE WITH A 2.5 WHEEL ADAPTOR
Dose anyone have a 2.5 wheel adaptor that they can help me blue print it?
i want to run 17x9.5 zr1 rims . i'm a machinist and i would like to make a set
i have CNC mill and CNC lathe that i can use, but i need the numbers
anyone with a adaptor and a caliper would be a dream come true!!
i know i could just buy a set , but what fun would that be
email me if you can help :hurray:

You were right the first time.....I'm running the 2.5 inch adaptors from VB on my 69. I am at school and my car is at home though...but thats only 20minutes away. What kind of info do you need? Email me to see if we can work something out.
P.S. I knew I wouldnt be the only one with ZR1 wheels on their C3 for very long

I have 2.5 inch wheel adaptors on my '72 with stock t-arms...the '92 vette rims are 17x9.5 all around and are as wide as can be gone in the rear keeping the same wheel center....3/4 inch additional to the inside making the ebrake tab move to inside the rotor.... the tire is a 275/50/17 and is just 1/4 inch from rubbing the t-arm, and or sway bar...spring is no problem...I have a VBP plastic spring...stock is fine too....dunno about TRW spring...
I do know it's a good design though been running them for about 6+ years now....closer to 7 .....
glad to help, whatever you need.....car in garage...
