Dress-Up For Top Of Radiator Fan Shroud
I have been hesitant to ask this question for sometime since it borders on being a little tacky.
I am in love with polished aluminum and wonder if there is a piece that would look good on top of the shroud?
Has anyone dressed-up this area?

I haven't done it but the piece you're looking for exists. You can probably get it from one of the big suppliers like MAD or Ecklers. It's an aluminum strip that goes across the fan shroud and has Corvette engraved in it. Will it be tacky? Hey it's your car. Look at my sig pic.

I saw the piece you mentioned. Hope this does not offend anyone, but in my opinion, it looks to cheap to put on a Corvette. It is pretty raw.
A chrome or polished piece woud be terrific!

One of the guys I know from the local car shows has a custom 76 with flip flop paint. He wanted to cover the power brake booster with something nice. He went to a local sheet metal fabricator and had a strip done in aluminum and had it polished. It looked very nice and ended up costing him less than $50. You could probably take your shroud extension to a fabricator and have them reproduce it in aluminum. Just a thought.
