What to clean aluminum intake with?
I have my new Performer RPM heads on and I am ready to install the Perfomer intake that I have had on the motor for 2 summers already but I would like to clean it up so it at least looks close to what it did when I first bought it. Thought about aluminum wheel cleaners but I have never used them before. Two types in the auto parts store 1) etching and 2) non- etching. Anyone ever used them before?

Saturate it will Simple Green, let it soak, then clean with a wire brush, nothing too hard though. Rinse with water. Repeat if necessary.

I would have it media blasted. Makes it look new again.

Have it bead blasted only about $20.00 and it will look brand spanking new!!! ;)

use the simple green and then pay a visit to your eastwood catalogue, they have got an alluminum manifold polishing kit(makes it look like a polished manifold) for about $50, or you can just get their tripoli compound and white rouge compound if you already have buffing tools and the know how.
