Help! Paint Trouble
I've noticed a spot on my vette where the paint is beginning to come loose. The paint is original, and besides this spot, the paint job is very good for a car this old.
The place where the paint is peeling is the seam between the tail wing and the body.
Is there anything I can do to stop it's progress? As the weeks go by, the spot keeps getting larger. See picture.
My plan for now is to stop it's progress, and use some touch-up paint to hide the damage. It's kind of a Bubba fix, but I can't afford a realpaint job at the moment, and I refuse to get one of those $199 dollar specials.
So, what's the best way to fix this?
Thanks for any comments or suggestions. :seeya

Re: Help! Paint Trouble (shotgun_000)
duct tape! im sorry there isnt really a quick, or inexpensive fix for this. you can however go to a real shop and get a spot job done. they will prep that spot and match the paint. i would bet its less than $300 all said and done. looks like it could be considerably less. and since you car is white, it should be a pretty easy match job for a good shop.
