Unless they have started to use aluminum that would have to be one heavy azz wheel!

Does anyone know if they clear the calipers? The old ones didn't.
Oh yeah- are they still plated? That's a BIG + in my book.
I'd buy them in a minute if they fit.

Not sure about the caliper clearence, I plan and going to Town Fair Tire and having them test fit a set of the 17" S/S on my car in the spring. The Jeg's site says "plenty of caliper clearence". What the correct backspacing for the C3 again, 4.5"? I'll let you guys know how it goes if we don't get the answer before then

Massvette--- what do you have on your C3 right now, TTII's? How big are they? If you buy a set of the S/S for your C3 let me know, I'd be interested in buying the wheels you have on there now.

AFAIK - all the Cragers need at least 1/2+ inch spacing... but I'm not 100% sure about that...

The newer aluminum ones look a little different than the old style. Looks like there is more clearance back there. I checked out the Cragar website and found several cool styles that I didn't know existed. There are actually three styles that look like the classic S/S. I might have to ditch the Boyd/Budnik idea and seriously look into some Cragars.
