how does the battery clamp work???
i can't figure this thing out. how does it do it's job of holding the battery down when it is bolted to the bottom of the battery compartment. here is a link with a picture of the clamp i'm referring to. http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...N0SM2EP3QRF6G8

It bolts to the bottom of battery floor. This lip sets over the bottom lip of the battery and holds it...

Mine doesn't do a great job either - the battery can move and tilt up. I have a new (well, recently purchased within the last few years) AC/Delco battery.
