How did the install go? Did you encounter any problems not seen in the corvettefaq.com steeroids install link?

Is it a manual or power rack? If manual, what are your impressions of it? I have power now but was thinking about deleting it and going with a manual rack. Would this be bad?

I have Steeroids kit installed in my BB 79, no problems what so ever with the install. I have the power steering in my car and everything works well together.

Here you see the dent I had to do to the driver side header:



I'm using a hi volume oil pan and I needed to notch it a bit to make it fit. It'2 good 2" lower than stock pan, so with stock pan you'll be fine.

How is the clearance between the passenger mounting bracket (where the idler arm used to bolt to frame) and headers? Now, my headers are right against the idler arm.

I'm using stahl headers and the passenger side is perfect in every sence. Idler arms clearence is definately not a problem. :cheers:

Since my headers are right up against the idler arm mount, do you think there will be a problem with the passenger side steeroid bracket that mounts in place of the idler arm?
