Where is the VIN on a 69 body?

Where is the VIN on a 69 body?
My title # matches the #'s on the frame... But I cannot find anything on the body, I have looked in all of the areas it should be, windshield post, door jamb, firewall (both sides) and no #. :confused:

Driver's side left windshield pillar post. Matter of fact, the interior(color keyed) moulding piece forms a "bridge" around where the VIN plate would be riveted to the windshield post.

The rivets holding on the VIN tage are rosette shaped. Be sure you look into it carefully if the VIN plate is missing as the laws vary by state, but in many it's illegal to muff with it yourself. :eek: Even remove / replace for restoration. :crazy:
