FINALLY got it to work... pic of new wheels
I guess it was something in the code that wouldn't allow it to work, so I changed the format on my webpage. Here it is:

Those look really good. I'm still forming my opinions on 20" wheels. I think yours look pretty good.

Sorry for not elaborating guys. I pretty much said it all in my other post (Restomod done for now...), but got egg on my face when I tried to post the pic, but it wouldn't.
Wheels are Boyd Coddington Timeless 5. They are 17x8 up front and 17x9.5 in the rear. The tires are Dunlop SP 8000. I have had these on another car and found them to be very acceptable. Not my favorite tire, but Tire Rack was selling them at a good price, so I jumped on them. Fronts are 245/45 and rears are 285/40. The rears sit right on the edge of the fender lip. The rear wheels have 4.75" backspacing with no spacers needed to run these wheels. Fit over the calipers, etc is great.
I do have some new offset trailing arms from VBP, and chances are good I could have run a little more backspacing, but I'm very pleased with it as is.
I cannot comment on handling/ride yet, although I'm used to vehicles with low profile tires...I cannot imagine the ride being unbearable, although the suspension is very tight and new (VPB springs, bushings, rear glass spring). The handling _has_ to improve as the guy I bought the car from had some 215/70-15 Goodyear AquaTreads on it. :p:

Very Nice!!! Did you per chance weigh the rims before mounting? Would be interesting to see how the weight compares to other 17" rims.

So they finally came in. Those things rock. I cannot wait to get my car back so I can put mine on. Glad to see you like them and how great they look.

The 8" wide ones were 20lbs, and the 9.5" ones were ~22lbs. I'm just using an old retired bathroom scale. ;)
Certainly not a lightweight forging (like a Fikse or HRE, etc), but not bad. Weren't your new TT "D" wheels right at 20lbs?

I'm sure the ride will be a bit rougher. It had some 215/70-15s on it before. But, I'm not used to cushy rides in anything I drive, so I doubt it will bother me. Handling has to improve.

Wes: Okay...I'm gonna swim upriver and go against the flow. I DON'T like the new wheels. Sorry Wes...it looks like you are trying to imitate a Z-06 with those. I like the more "classic" look of the rallye wheels. It's your car and you can do what you want with it. Just my stoopid opinion is all. I think I could even take Crager S/S wheels over those. More appropriate for the time period of the Vette. BAH! Ignore me!!! :D

Well, they certainly don't have the nostalgic look of the TT2s - but they still
look sharp. I'm sure that when you park her next to the Z06 - the wheels
start to look very similar.
Do they make her look more modern - yes.
Do they look bad - no way !!

Re: FINALLY got it to work... pic of new wheels (lason)
Thanks guys! Appreciate the compliments.
Dep, it was b/w the polished TT2's or these. I chose these b/c they are a bit different. I like 'em both. I certainly wasn't trying to imitate the Fikse wheels on the Z06...or I'd have plunked down $2600 for a set.
But if I'd wanted to spend that much, I would have no doubt gotten another set of Fikse FM5s. They are my favorite wheel of all time. Had 'em on my old hot-rod Mustang, too. Super-lightweight (~12lbs each), and strong and I think they look awesome on any car.
Yes, my car looks more modern now, and has less of a "classic" look.
