Something about this car really fires me up,
The temps were in the 60's the last two days, and for Nebraska thats something special, so we uncovered the Vettes and hit the streets. My fatherinlaw and I took turns driving each other around, and they we did a little street racing against each other, nothing dangerous, just good times and lots of laughs.
But there's something about his car that just makes me feel good about this hobby. His car was setup back in 1970 "see pics" and it still looks good, with only 57,000 miles on it. But what's neat is the character in the car, the paint, the stance, the 1971-72 Slalom Championship stickers stuck to the dash, the "check lugs" sticker on the radio, stuff that some racer put there over 30 years ago. Some might find it tacky, but I see the history and character in the car and it really fires me up. I hope I can find a car like this for myself someday. Or, I guess I could just kiss butt and hope I get it
There's some pictures on this website.

Both of your cars get me going  That 69 looks badassssssss. It reminds me of a Baldwin Motion car and how  it must have been to go out in that year and buy a new 427 Corvette. :D :chevy rules!!!

I'll have to ask him about the rims, I don't remember who made them.

Those wheels are probably the originator of the term MAGS
My friend had a cool set on his jeep that made it look pretty bad azz too. That yellow car is cool with the black stripes.

I think it looks pretty cool. The stickers are done tastefully and not all over the place. I definitely would drive that car.
