Little afternoon Project!!!

yepppp, Ive learned from trial and error that you will get a lot better product and be a lot happier with your finnished work if you take your time and PREP WORK!!! what i hate about projects is cleaning up after em :cheers:

great job! i had decided that my grilles were too brittle and bought new ones. :nonod: i later decided i was doing polished aluminum ones. im a pretty indecisive guy. :lol:

There is no brand but i went down to the local hobby shop my dad and i use to go to *i remembed using paints to paint material like that* took the part in and asked them what would be the best and he said that model aircraft paint would be the best because it wont chip like regular paint will, expensive stuff but well worth it in the long run.... so at least we were on the same page with what i wanted . :cheers: :) :smash: :steering:

Excellent job. I did the same on the bumpers of my 79 when I had it. Never thought of doing the grills though. Looks like you did a good job.

Thanks for the tip on the paint. I did the EXACT same thing to mine and the stinkin' paint started peeling and chipping before I got the grills screwed back on! :mad
I'll try it again with some of that kind of paint! :cheers:
