Default engine mount (again)
My left engine mount had shims between the engine and mount at each bolt location. From what I can tell this engine has never been removed before. Has anyone else found this? :chevy

what kind of shims? Spacers, washers, or long things like starter shims??

No shims on the engine mounts on my 1980. They were original.

The shims are thin and horseshoe shaped. They were stacked to about 1/8".
