Do I need a regulator or not?
I've seen some posts lately on this subject but I'm still not sure of the answer to this question: When using a Holley 110 gph mechanical fuel pump with a Rochester Qjet, do I need to use a fuel pressure regulator?
Thanks for any info.

Check the psi rating on that pump. I think it is rated at 6-8 psi. The Q jets needle and seat will handle 7 psi, above that you may cause it to flood. Holleys will handle about 9 psi.

Thanks. Holley rates the pump I have at 6.5 - 8 psi. Based on the 7 psi number for the Qjet, that is probably the cause of my problem.
