Is the exhaust non stock? I presume you want to remove the transmission pan to change the oil/filter. There is no interference with the exhaust system and the transmission bolts on my 1980.
If you do remove the exhaust pipes at the manifolds you might want to soak the nuts with PB Blaster for a day or so to help with the rust.

Yes, but buy the metal ones. Most good parts stores carry metal ones to replace the fiber ones. I went through 3 sets of fiber ones then got metal and they never blew again. Either that or get headers which is what I have now............."but John, header gaskets leak".............not mine, I drilled and safety wired my bolts........never leak :yesnod: :yesnod:
