Mad Max Interior
This car is on ebay. Owner says "Car needs some restoration. I have new ...door panels"
What do you think the door panels and floormats will look like?

Re: Mad Max Interior (trw)
I have seen a car or two with **** carpeting all over the interior that must have seemed a good idea in the mid seventies. I think the diamond plate will be much the same.

Give a Red Neck a Diamond Plate Console and you make him happy for a
day... Teach a Red Neck how to fashion his own Diamond Plate Dress Up
Items and you make him happy for life...

If you've ever tried to repair one of thos ecenter consoles - then you know
how painful it is to get everything exactly right - so it all fits back together.
I've been there - glassing the thing back to 'good'.
Now, as redneck as it is - I have to hand it to the 'neck that put that center
console together. It looks like they did a bangup job. If you know who did it -
the wife needs a new console for her Blazer. :smash:

Re: Mad Max Interior (trw)
Now if we link this picture to the thread on making the chassis stiffer then this may look like a much better idea than you think at first.

I really like the diamond plate. Now if we can just get some rhino lining in there will never be a need to put the t-tops back on.
