Default Alternator problems

i posted this problem before and i did get some very helpfull info but i have now tested both battery and alternator. The alternator is fine from what the test at kragen showed. but when i start the vett and test the battery it showes 12.5 insted of the 12.9 when its off. Is that the regulator inside the vette doing that or is it dead or is my electronics eating up the power.

Does the battery read 12.5 with the car off? If so, mine does too and starting has never been an issue so I will be curious too.

You should read around 14-14.2 volts at 3000 rpm. This is at the battery,if you only get 12.5 at this rpm then the charging system is not quite right.

Sounds more like the alternator imo.Check with a few vendors as there is a conversion kit for going to a 1 wire set up.I know who sells them but I don`t think I can post that.
