Stock ralley wheel weight?
Whats the weight of the stock ralley wheels? I ran mid 13's with stock ralleys and 235/60-15 on all 4. If I bolted on Weld superlite or other similar lightweight wheels with maybe narrower tires on the front, how many tenths might I expect to gain in the E.T. under good circumstances and considering all else same?

They're heavy. I've got mine off trying to paint them. I'll try to remember to hit the scale tonight and measure one. If I had to guess, it would be north of 20 pounds, but I'm horrible at estimating.

26.5lbs!!! Is that the wheel alone without the trim ring and center cap or tire mounted? If so..damn!! Quite the boat anchor huh? Thanks for the input mayberg.

This is what I mounted my MT ET Streets on....Wow more than 25 pounds each.....Is that just the rim or including the tire etc?.....Looks like I have to give some serious thought to Weld Super Lites..... :seeya Cappy

check the archives for the "Wheel and Tire Weigh In" that I did several months back for weights of several combos.

Gentlemen,
Yes, the 26.5 pounds is just the wheel, and does not include the trim ring or center cap. I can't imagine those contributing more than a pound, and I suppose you could weigh those yourself.
By the way, where does one get 17x8 rally's, and what kind of tire do you run, and do you have any fit problems?
