Default Introduction & Question

Hi,

I just joined this forum & have a question about any experiences you might have with a vender AstroTops. http://www.astrotops.com

I don't know if this is appropriate to ask but here i go.

I bought one peice astrotop roof panel for my wife's 71 t-top for the holidays. The top we received was defective, it was cut poorly & didn't look very good when we did install it. ( installing was a pain too! )

So we returned it, and so far are not recieving a whole lot of satisfaction, or a refund.

I ordered it over the phone & found a hidden restocking/return fee in the invoice, something they failed to disclose on the phone.

The store claims the top was damaged by UPS when it was returned and drew at astrotops claims it is not his responsibility to refund the item. He seemed to forget about the vinyl storage cover, hopefully UPS will cover the damage.

We are concerned that this place plays a little fast and loose with the rules, for example, in addition to the hidden return fee, the invoice says all items must be returned within 14 days, but then in another place it says let the top settle for 10 days if it doesn't seem to fit correctly.

Have any of you dealt with this Drew at Astrotops? Is he legit?

Obviously we are not satisfied customers, but is this an isolated case or something other people have had problems with?

Thanks

Alex

Be patient. There have been threads about astro tops in the past, so someone will have something to say.

In the meantime, search the archive for astrotops or astro tops.
