Electric Fan options?
I am wanting to put on electric fan(s) on my 71 LT-1. 1 to clean up the front of the engine bay and to not bother with the %^%&*(& fan shroud during removal or installation of the radiator.
What options are there?
Retro fits?
New that are not too$$$?
Thanks, BT

I found a C4 fan from say an '87 or so works fine, mounted in a cut down depth and split on the sides near the upper A arm bolts....original shroud...
controlled by computer in my case...but could be done in a variety of other ways....sensor sw. in head...for instance...

I have Spal Duals, which is a twin 11" fan set up. Easy to install and top notch in quality.

I am running dual fans from a 99 Trans Am. They fit nicely with a little trimming and work great. I have them wired to the computer so they run in slow and fast just like the factory designed
