Muffler Shops re Borla Universals/Can they do?
So I now have these Borla #40352 mufflers coming to me. And I am pleased with Slickman's recommendation (his pic below) and my purchase on EBay. But they are universal and will need the pipe connects to the rear stock Y-pipe and downward curving tips. Can a reasonably competent muffler shop just connect these up? I would like stock-looking SS tips. Are they likely to have them? I like Slickman's look!

My muffler guy made "custom tips" for my car. Don't think he even charged me for em.
Very easy to do, and then almost every muffler shop has a set of stainless steel tips they could weld over them.
I'll send you a link via IM of mine...
The shop should be able to connect everything for you. Whether or not it will still be boltable is up to you. (I think most shops are addicted to welds. My system is only unboltable at the manifold.)
