The most fun you can have ... ... ...
The most fun you can have with your pants on! <<or at least nearby>> :flag
Yep my motor now has 450 miles on it, give or take a tenth :D and it runs better than ever. Seems that the oddities in the new carb are going away, or it's getting broke in or something. I was actually ready to exchange the carb a couple of days ago but today it was about 80 degrees outside, and the car ran perfect!  :D
Neighbor asked me why the car sounds *so*different*now* and I raised the hood for him. He seemed amused and kinda wondering about putting that much cash into an old car.
I told him that it was because driving a C3 is the most fun you can have with your pants on! He got the message :yesnod:  :)

Yes, they are tons of fun. I'm glad to see that everything went ok with your project. My Brother lives in Chula Vista and if I ever get my '72 back on the road again, a road trip from Tucson might be in order. It would be nice to meet up with some of you SD guys while I am there.
Have fun and enjoy your dreams come true

80 degrees, How cool. I won't see them temps until June :cry , hope to be driving by April anyway. Cooler temps + better performance. Glad you are having fun now.

Yea maybe we could all meet at The Dyno Shop and compare numbers! BTW how do I get my shop on the list of approved vendors here at the Forum?? There is nobody listed for tuning here in SD from what I can see.

Yes - it would be nice to get the EFI adjusted properly using a Dyno. All I have to go by now is DD2000 which shows 444hp. I put allot of work into the 6085 heads so I think the numbers should be just a little higher. It might be awhile till I get it running again due to my physical health which is failing (no Bad Kharma intended). The car is up on jacks now getting ready for body lift to finish what I could not get to with the body on. It has been this way for two years now since my heart failure. Work is progressing slowly but I do what I can (work on the car a little one day, spend the next two days in bed) and someday I might even be able to drive it again - I hope.
